The Totham train rolled back into Bull Meadow this weekend and the home support (att=7) was not disappointed.
Captain Harry Cooper won his third successful toss and put bottom side Raleigh into bat and the landslide began.
Sam Bowen open spell of bowling was one of the best this season finishing with figures of (3-18) and never let Raleigh get out of the traps.
Raleigh were stifled 20 overs in with tight bowling from the GTCC bowlers when the introduction of Barry Mays into the attack, snuffed out the middle order and the tail with amazing figures of 7-5-2-5 leaving the the visitors only able to muster a total of 127.
Totham set out to make short work of the total with Cooper making 61 in no time, with blistering stroke play and will have been disappointed not to have finished the job himself but Tommy Hawkridge (42*) got himself another good contribution with the bat and saw the oak trees home only losing 1 wicket.
There will certainly be tougher challenges ahead for Totham including next week when they visit Great Baddow.
