Something on your mind?  Send us a message and your contact details using the form below, or you can contact us on social media, and we will get back to you as quickly as we can.

Alternatively, we have provided a selection of frequently asked questions below too!

Joining GTCC couldn't be easier.

Simply head over to https://membermojo.co.uk/greattothamcc and follow the instructions!

We offer a free social membership where you will get access to our monthly newsletter and regular emails regarding events being hosted by GTCC. In order to use our net facilities, you will need to register as a member, which you can do for free on membermojo too.

Our junior membership is £40, and we also offer AllStars and Dynamos Cricket however you will have to register for those separately. For students and the unemployed, we offer a discounted rate of £85, while our full membership costs £135.

The student/unemployed membership rate and our Full Membership rate and includes a ticket to our annual awards ceremony which has been held for the three years at Essex CCC.

Membership runs from the 1st January to 31st December. If you wish to play cricket for GTCC you need to pay your membership fees in a prompt manner. Therefore if you have not paid your membership before the First League game of the season is completed, there will be an additional £25 late charge.

For any new members joining in the middle of a season, the committee will discuss with you an appropriate and fair reduced rate.

For Full Members, GTCC are currently trialing an option for monthly payments. This would be £23.50 per month from January to December and covers your membership, match fees, and your ticket to the Annual Awards Ceremony.

Chances are we have already found it! Don't worry your property will have been safely stored in the pavilion. Please contact us above and we can arrange a suitable time for you to collect.

Our neighbours in the Village Hall very kindly allow us to use their parking facilities on matchdays provided that there is not an ongoing event.

In the case that we are unable to park at the Village Hall, we offer parking behind our net facilities, however, you will have to drive around the boundary edge and may be unable to leave immediately in the middle of a game! We will leave clear signage at the entrance to the ground when you are unable to park in the Village Hall car park.

If you are playing us at Braxted Park, there is indeed parking available too.

If you would like to discuss renting our pavilion (good for small gatherings) or the outfield, please do get in touch. However, we do not regularly host events at Bull Meadow.

Unfortunately, we do not yet have a ladies or girls team, but these are teams we at GTCC are strongly trying to encourage and develop #thisgirlcan

We do however have several junior girls of a variety of ages regularly playing and training with our junior boys. All our junior sides are mixed gender, and we encourage active participation in matches from all players. We hope that from this small beginning, we are taking the right steps to having a strong womens section within GTCC.

Competing in the First, Third and Tenth Divisions of the T Rippon Mid Essex Cricket League on a Saturday, and Division Two of the North Essex Cricket League on a Sunday, we are able to offer competitive cricket at a wide variety of abilities. Whether you are returning to cricket, trying it out for the first time, or you have moved to the area and are looking for your new club. We will have a place for you in our GTCC Family.

But you don't play cricket? That does not matter, we encourage family and friends to come to the ground to watch the games, bask in the delightful Essex sunshine, and relax on our cozy patio area courtesy of JTO Construction. Outside of cricket, we host a variety of social events that we encourage family and friends to attend, such as Race Nights, Quiz Nights, Gin Nights, and many more! Keep an eye on our social media for the latest announcements.

A Village Cricket Club would not be complete without some quirky playing rules, and you can expect no different here!

Firstly, all trees are outside or on the boundary edge. Therefore they are out of play and you cannot be caught out from a rebound. As soon as the ball touches any tree at any time, a boundary shall be signaled by the umpire, this includes if a fielder throws the ball into any overhanging branches.

The boundary edge is indicated by a white line and markers, except in the instance of the boundary running alongside the main road. Here the boundary is marked by the fence and trees. The trees are considered to be on the boundary. Therefore in order for a batsman to score a six on this side of the field, the ball must clear the top rung of the fence, and land on the other side. A ball that goes through the rungs of the fence shall be called four. If the ball hits a tree a six will be called if the ball lands outside the fence, and four if the ball lands inside the fence. So yes, you can absolutely smoke a ball towards the Bull Car Park, clip the very top of the tree, have the ball land inside the fence, and only score four!
