All Stars Cricket is back for 2021 and we can't wait! Our 8 week program runs on Sunday mornings throughout the summer. These sessions are run for boys and girls aged between 5 to 8 years old.

For us All Stars is all about giving children the best first experience of cricket, with emphasis on fun! Lead by our team of qualified coaches kids will learn fundamental skills such as catching, throwing, and batting, all in a safe environment using soft balls and plastic bats. Parents and Guardians are encouraged to participate, so you can join in the fun and learn some games to play with your kids.

As part of the program, your child gets their own All Stars kit, including a personalised t-shirt, All Stars bat, All Stars ball and a kit bag to carry it all in! If this is your first year of All Stars you'll also receive your own All Stars cap, to keep the sun off your head!

New for 2021 - introducing Dynamos Cricket! We will be running Dynamos as Girls only, a perfect introduction for your daughter to get active and play cricket with friends.

Starting 25th June, this 8-week program will look to develop hand-eye coordination and ball-handling skills. Each session will also focus on a specific cricket skill (batting; bowling; or fielding) to introduce the key elements of our sport!

Each session will finish with a game of countdown cricket where everyone will have the opportunity to bat, bowl and field.

In 2020 GTCC quietly launched our Ladies section, looking to provide relaxed and fun training sessions for female cricketers, with a social drink held in the Bull after. By the end of the season, over 10 different ladies had taken part, four of whom had played league cricket on a Saturday and Sunday, and almost everyone came for a glass!

In 2021 we want to take this one step further and we are grateful to Essex Womens CCC for their assistance and help over the winter in developing a plan for the season ahead. You can look forward to the following in 2021:

- Try-it-out softballs training
- Net practice
- Softball tournaments
- Friday Night Ladies Night (Dynamos > Ladies > Social)
- Potential T20/Hundred fixtures
- Lots more socials!

For 2021 all training will be run for free, there may be a small fee for tournaments & matches. Anyone who decide to become a full  GTCC member is also welcome along to club training on Thursday nights.
